Joanne Ryan hails from a small coastal town in County Clare, Ireland. At the age of 6 she made the move to New York with her family, where she then spent most of her upbringing.  

 

She has studied acting extensively with Lyle Kessler, Larry Moss and Terry Knickerbocker, to name a few.

 

Joanne most recently appeared on the new mini series THE ARTIST starring Janet McTeer, Mandy Patinkin and Patti Lupone and the popular Dick Wolf series FBI.

 

She holds dual citizenship and returns to Ireland  frequently.
